Addison Walling had a stellar weekend for Austin College, averaging 9.0 assists-per-game in two big conference victories for the 'Roos. Walling, a freshman guard from Moss Beach, California, dished out 11 assists in a win over Southwestern and added seven more in a blowout victory against Texas Lutheran.
Walling currently ranks fourth in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference in assists-per-game at 3.4, and in SCAC games she has boosted that average to 6.3 assists-per-game, best in the league. She has also committed just three turnovers in three conference games as the 'Roos have gotten out to a 3-0 start in the SCAC.
For the year, Walling is averaging 7.6 points and 4.2 rebounds-per-game, along with 1.6 steals. She's also shooting 34.1% from three-point range this season to help Austin College start the season 10-4 overall.
