This Week in AC Athletics - Holiday Edition

‘Twas the end of semester and all through #RooNation, students crammed their brains with a year’s worth of information.

Exams, papers, and a take-home test, there’s so much to do to finish your very best.

But the end is near.  The finish is in sight.  Once this week is concluded, relax you just might.

The faculty review all the papers and tests, and submit the grades putting this semester to rest.

All the campus will quiet until the New-Year as students spend the holidays with family far and near.

Not to be forgotten are the coach and athlete who will continue to work through the break and compete.

Opportunities abound for #RooNation to cheer our Basketball and Swim Teams as they finish this year.

Swimming & Diving’s winter training trip will take them to Florida, with one meet on the script.

The Sunshine State will play host to St. LawrenceAC hopes their training will net a strong performance.

The team will depart the Friday before they take on the Vikings December 13th at 4.

Let’s not get ahead of ourselves and look past a Men’s Basketball home game December 10th; this year’s last!

Nebraska Wesleyan will invade Hughey at Noon.  Our ‘Roos won’t let the Prairie Wolves howl at the moon.

Then off to Jackson our Kangaroos will travel, to take on Millsaps and help The Majors unravel.

Women play at 1, and Men start at 3, we hope December 14th will result in victory.

Coming off a fantastic showing in St. Louis, the ‘Roos play the Lynx December 16th in Hughey.

Tip-off at 1 and you won’t want to miss this as the next Women’s Basketball game is after Christmas.

On the 18th @ 3 and the 19th @ 1, Men’s Basketball will play two in Memphis.  What fun!

The Scots and the Lions, respectively, will try their very best to take down AC.

Try as they might, our ‘Roos will prevail as they work so hard down to the smallest detail.

Women’s Basketball will come back with a bang, as the ‘Roos host Tyler, whose rims will surely “clang.”

That game is scheduled for the 28th at 2.  If you are in town, we sure hope to see you.

And finally, with SCAC Season beginning, we hope to hit Shreveport on a streak of winning.

The Roundballers travel to CentenaryAt 4 and at 6 is when tip-off will be.

That’s all for this Update; the last one this year.  All of us in Athletics hold you so very dear

for the support you have shown us, through thick and through thin, you are always behind us whether we lose or we win.

So we wish you good luck as you finish this week.  We hope you all get the grades that you seek.

And in support of Austin College, whether we win or we lose, please always remember to…
