Four From 'Roo Men's Tennis Earn All-SCAC

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Four members of the Austin College men's tennis team have earned All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference honors, the league office has announced.

Kenneth Hardy, a sophomore from Lubbock, was a first team All-Conference selection after having also earned Player of the Week recognition once this season. Hardy went 12-3 on the year playing primarily as the team's number two singles player, where he won 11 times. Hardy also teamed with Siddharth Kortikere to go 12-6 at number one doubles.

Granberry, a sophomore from Plano, was an honorable mention All-SCAC selection after earning seven singles victories, including six at line one and one at line three. He was also part of 12 doubles victories, including teaming with Erik Meendsen to go 11-7 playing primarily line two.

Kortikere, a freshman from Longview, was an honorable mention All-SCAC pick after going 11-6 in singles competition, including 9-5 at line four and 2-1 at line two. He also teamed with Hardy to form one of the strongest line one doubles pairings in the SCAC.

Glasscock, a senior from Dallas, was an honorable mention All-SCAC selection after earning eight singles victories, including three each at lines three and four. He also paired with Pieter Jon Cabato to go 10-8 playing both number two and number three doubles. Overall, he was part of 12 doubles victories on the year.

Austin College athletic teams participate as a member of the NCAA Division III and the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
