LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. –Austin College women's basketball player Bryce Frank has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week, the league office has announced. This is the fourth time this season Frank has earned this honor.
Frank, a senior forward from Granbury, averaged 18.0 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 2.6 assists-per-game while leading the 'Roos to a 4-1 mark over the holiday break. Frank, who leads the SCAC in scoring and rebounding, recorded three double-doubles while shooting 64.4% from the field in the team's five contests.
With four SCAC Player of the Week awards so far this season, Frank has now matched the number of times she earned this accolade last season on her way to being named the conference's Co-Player of the Year. She has nine double-doubles this year, tied for the sixth most in the nation. She also ranks in the top 25 in the nation in field goal percentage, shooting 56.4% from the field through 13 games.
