SEGUIN, Texas - The Austin College softball team led for most of Friday's opening round SCAC Tournament game against No. 3-seed St. Thomas, but the Celts scored the final three runs of the game to hand the'Roos a 4-2 loss. Austin College will now take on Southwestern on Saturday.

'Roos Fall Twice at Southwestern

GEORGETOWN, Texas - The Austin College softball team fell in both halves of its doubleheader at Southwestern University on Saturday to wrap up the regular season, as the Pirates topped the 'Roos 3-0 in game one and 7-2 in game two. Austin College will now head to the SCAC Tournament with an overall record of 18-20.

'Roo Softball Clinches SCAC Tournament Bid

SHERMAN, Texas - For the first time since 2015, the Austin College softball team is headed to the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament after clinching a spot by taking two of three games against Schreiner University on Sunday. The 'Roos downed the Mountaineers 8-0 in game one, and after falling 7-5 in game two, bounced back with a 4-1 win in the third game of the day to lock up a postseason berth.
