SURPRISE, Ariz. - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced their Fall 2018 National and Regional Rankings, and one of Austin College's finest was mentioned in both lists for Women's Singles.
Sophomore Melody Duong (League City, TX) was named the #49 Singles Player in the Nation, and the #11 Singles Player in the ITA Western Region of the United States after winning three rounds in the ITA Women's Division III Southwest Regional Singles Championships, hosted by Trinity University this past September.
This is the highest ranking of Duong's career at Austin College, and her first National recognition after finishing the year as the #20 Singles Player in the Western Region with a 14-7 record.
Duong will open the season and defend her National Ranking against LeTourneau University in Shreveport, LA on Saturday, February 23rd. The full rankings list can be found here.
