Christina Kime became the first 'Roo women's basketball player to reach 1,000 career points since 2009.
Christina Kime, a senior guard from San Diego, California, became the first 'Roo women's basketball player to reach 1,000 career points since Katy Williams reached the milestone in 2009. Kime scored 18 points against the University of Texas-Dallas to top the mark.
Kime also scored 16 points in a win over East Texas Baptist last week, and through the team's first three games is second in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference in scoring with an average of 19.7 points, and currently leads the conference with 6.3 assists-per-game. Kime is also averaging 4.7 rebounds-per-game.
