Brian Baehl recently became just the 20th player in Kangaroo men's basketball history to reach 1,000 career points.
Brian Baehl, a senior guard from The Woodlands, recently reached a milestone by becoming just the 20th player in Kangaroo men's basketball history to surpass 1,000 career points. Baehl achieved this mark by scoring 15 points at Trinity on Friday night.
Baehl, has been a four year starter for the 'Roos, appearing in 90 games so far and starting all but five. The 6-foot-3 point guard has now totaled 1,024 points, an average of 11.4 points-per-game, and is currently averaging a career-high 13.1 points-per-game this season.
Baehl also recently surpassed 300 career assists, and ranks among the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference leaders with an average of 4.0 assists-per-game this season. Last year, Baehl became the first 'Roo men's basketball player in more than a decade to surpass 100 assists in a season.
