This Week in AC Athletics, 3/28 - 4/3

Baseball vs. Southwestern, 4/2 @ 7pm, 4/3 @ 1pm & 4pm; Softball vs. Dallas, 4/2 @ 12pm & 2pm, 4/3 @ 12pm & 2pm; Tennis vs. Centenary, 4/2 @ 12pm, vs. Schreiner, 4/3 @ 11am

Spring Sports are heating up as Men's & Women's Tennis are on a 4-match winning streak, Baseball is 6-5 at home with a 3-game home stand coming this weekend vs. Southwestern, and Softball has an opportunity in conference play to move back above .500 for the season.

Let's preview upcoming games as only Baseball had results over Easter Weekend so you know when to come support your Spring Sports Teams.  Here is your AC Athletics Update!

 

Baseball

Baseball is on a 9-game slide in conference play, but there are plenty more opportunities against Conference Opponents to turn it around.  They'll need your support, #RooNation.

The 'Roos will look to finish the month of March on a high note today as they travel to Wilburton, Oklahoma to face Ozarks on neutral turf.  But this weekend they will square off against a tough Pirates lineup from Southwestern to get their first Conference victories of the season at home.

Come out to support your Kangaroo Diamond Cutters on Friday and Saturday so we can start April like we started February!

Softball 

            Softball was off this weekend, but returns to action at home for a 4-game home stand against UDallas.  Come on out to support your Kangaroos as they make their first push to start off the month of April and increase their chances of making the SCAC Conference Tournament before the end of the season.

            Saturday will serve as the squad's "Team 10 Game" event, so make your way out there to support our Diamond 'Roos!

Men's and Women's Tennis

            Men's & Women's Tennis were off this last weekend for the Holiday, but they are back in action working hard to represent Austin College this weekend in a big way for just the second and third time at home this season.

            The Kangaroos put their 4-match winning streak (best since 2000) on the line against two SCAC Conference opponents, with Sunday being recognized as the start of NCAA Division III Student-Athlete Week.

            AC hosts the Ladies & Gents from Centenary on Saturday, and the Mountaineers from Schreiner on Sunday.

 

 

            Softball, Tennis, and Baseball are all at home this weekend.  No excuses, #RooNation; we need your support.  So get your homework, projects, and studying done early this week so you can tell your Student-Athlete classmates that you will see them at the field or the courts to show your support for all of their hard work.
