78 'Roos Named to SCAC Fall Academic Honor Roll

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced its Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll today for the 2016 fall term and 78 Austin College student-athletes made the list.

To qualify, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.25 for the term and be a regular member of a varsity athletic team in a sport sponsored by the conference.

Among those who received this honor were men's cross country runners Trini Balkaran, Jimmy Ding Jeffrey Kubena, and Cody Meyers, as well as women's cross country runners Jaelin Gordon, Haleigh Hahn, Eden Llamas, Emma Page, Sydney Perez, Alex Quinn, and Zane Trevino.

Also earning SCAC Honor Roll recognition were football players Gabriel Amador, Kyle Bohannon, Ben Bouchez, Sean Brogan, Shane Brooks, Zain Byers, Connor Carnes, Charles Eneh, Reggie Evans, John Fee, Cooper Gross, James Hemen ,Tad Howard, Tanner Howard, Branden Hunt, Tre Jones, Josh Keys, Zane Kottwitz, Conner Kramer, Tanner Logsdon, Michal Magdziak, Adonis Martin, Christian Martinez, Dane Marwood, Tate Milroy, Ben Moran, Kane Norman, Tilghman Parr, Emanuel Pruitt, Michael Rinehart, Cesar Ruiz, Weston Russell, Tom Samonig, Hayden Schilling, Cal Schone, Anthony Sledge, Kendall St. Romain, Eric Summerlin, Wesley Thompson, and Braxton Watters.

From men's soccer, this honor was achieved by Jonathan Estrada, Chase Gaskill, Brandon Harner, Joseph Khalaf, Clint Montgomery, Michael Moran, Juan Rodriguez, Ben Sloan, and Jack Wheaton.

Women's soccer players Sarah Battles, Ali Boehmer, Erin Eckart, Kylie Peterson, Ashley Rice, Kyli Scott, Kristi Stevens, and Erica Williams were also SCAC Honor Roll members.

Finally, volleyball players to earn this academic achievement include Caraline Croft, Dani Dewitt, Sam Fawcett, Kayley Leblanc, Madison Lee, Kristen Massey, Madi McVay, Aelyn Rodriguez, Chandler Sherman, and Madison Winslett.
