Support Hurricane Roo-lief at Home Games Through September 22
Beginning Friday, September 8 and continuing through September 22, the Austin College athletics department and Student Athlete Advisory Council will be raising money for Hurricane Harvey Relief efforts by selling jerseys at home sporting events.
Beginning Friday, September 8 and continuing through September 22, the Austin College athletics department and Student Athlete Advisory Council will be raising money for Hurricane Harvey Relief efforts by selling jerseys at home sporting events.
Members of the Austin College SAAC will be selling 'Roo athletics jerseys for a donation of $1 at the second Austin College volleyball match on both Friday and Saturday this weekend, as well as through halftime of the football team's game against Wayland Baptist on Saturday. These efforts will continue on Sunday at the home tennis match from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., as well as throughout the women's soccer game, and through halftime of the men's soccer game on Sunday.
The relief efforts will then continue through each home game through Friday, September 22, which includes home volleyball next Thursday, women's soccer games next Friday and Sunday, the first half and halftime of the men's soccer team's games next Friday and Sunday, as well as through halftime of the football team's game on September 16.
100% of the donations will go to Austin College's overall Hurricane Harvey relief efforts, which culminates with Helping Harvey's Heroes Week from September 18-22.
