Austin College SAAC Collecting Donations for SCAC "Change for the Better" Campaign

SHERMAN, Texas - The Austin College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee will be collecting donations on Friday and Saturday in Hughey Gymnasium as part of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference "Change for the Better" campaign, with proceeds to be donated to the Boys & Girls Club of Sherman.

Approved by the SCAC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee in 2015, the "Change for the Better" contest allows each member institution to collect as much change as possible from fans, parents and students in support of a chosen charity over the course of one week during the conference basketball season.

Members of the SAAC will be on hand to collect donations during the games, which take place at 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. on Friday and 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
