Outdoor Athletics Green Space Protocol
The following will be policy for all students using athletics green space. This includes Apple Stadium, Baker Field, Pierce Soccer Complex, as well as the football practice field and the Williams Intramural field.
The following will be policy for all students using athletics green space:
1. Masks are required when a 6-foot distance cannot be maintained.
2. No groups of more than 10 people may participate in any activity. If two or more groups of 10 are gathered simultaneously, they must be 20 yards apart. All participants in the group must wear a mask. Examples include but are not limited to football games, soccer games, etc. Any type of group activities must have all participants in masks.
3. Individual users who can maintain a 6 foot distance (walkers, runners, throwing a ball at a distance) may be without a mask but must have one available at all times to put on if they cannot maintain a 6 foot distance with another user.
4. The Williams basketball courts and outdoor volleyball courts will not be in place for the fall.
5. Any user who does not follow the above protocol will be reported to Student Life for a student conduct violation.
6. If complaints persist, all athletics green space will be closed except for approved activities.
7. Athletics green space includes Apple Stadium, the west football practice field, the Williams intramural field, the Dr. Jack Pierce Memorial Soccer Complex, and Baker Field.
8. No lights will be accessible to turn on at any time.
Updates on in-door facility use will be announced in the coming week.
