It's another busy weekend for Austin College, as the 'Roos take to the track, the diamond, the court, and the pool on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
It's another busy weekend for Austin College, as the 'Roos take to the track, the diamond, the pitch, the court, and the pool on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
The 'Roo baseball and softball teams kick things off on Friday, with the softball team hosting Texas Lutheran while the baseball team travels to Seguin, where they'll also face off against TLU. The softball team will play TLU in a doubleheader beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Old Settlers Park, with live stats available on the team's schedule page. The 'Roos and Bulldogs will finish their three game series at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday morning.
The Austin College baseball team opends up its own three game series with TLU on Friday evening, with the game one scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Live stats and video links are available on the team's schedule page. The 'Roos and Bulldogs will then play a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at noon.
The 'Roo distance track team heads to Oklahoma Baptist on Saturday for the OBU Invitational, with live results available via a link on the team's schedule page.
The Austin College men's and women's tennis teams will be home on Saturday morning, with the 'Roos hosting SCAC opponent Southwestern University beginning at 9:00 a.m. Results for the morning's matches will be posted as soon as possible following their conclusion.
Also playing at home this weekend are the men's and women's soccer teams. Both teams will take on the University of Dallas on Saturday, with the men taking the pitch first at 3:00 p.m. while the women follow at 6:00 p.m. Live stats and video will be available on the team schedule pages.
As a reminder, no off-campus visitors will be permitted at any home sporting events at this time.
The women's water polo team heads to Erie, Pa. this weekend, where they'll take on Washington & Jefferson at 1:30 p.m. and Gannon at 7:00 p.m. They'll wrap up the weekend with another pair of games on Sunday, taking on Mercyhurst at 8:00 a.m. and Grove City at 10:45 a.m.
Finally, the 'Roo volleyball team heads out to Colorado Springs this weekend to take on the top-ranked team in the nation, Colorado College. The 'Roos will play the Tigers at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, and finish the weekend with a match at noon on Sunday. Live stats and streaming video will be available for both matches.
