Things get started on Saturday morning, when the Austin College volleyball team kicks off Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament play with a quarterfinal match against St. Thomas in Hughey Gym at 10:00 a.m. No spectators will be permitted at the match, but it will be streamed live on College TV Ticket.
The action continues at home on Saturday with the 'Roo baseball team hosting Schreiner for a doubleheader, with first pitch of game one scheduled for 1:00 p.m. The two teams will wrap up the series on Saturday, with gametime set for noon. This weekend's home baseball schedule is subject to change with inclement weather possible in Texoma.
Austin College men's and women's tennis will also be home this weekend, taking on Texas Wesleyan at noon on Saturday. With both the baseball and tennis events this weekend, only Austin College community members will be permitted to attend.
The 'Roo women's water polo team opens up CWPA Championship play on Saturday at noon, taking on host school Carthage College in Kenosha, Wis., with Austin College entering the tournament as the No. 1-seed. The 'Roos will also be in action on Sunday, with gametime to be decided based on the outcome of Saturday's game.
Austin College men's soccer wraps up its season on Saturday in Colorado Springs, Colo., with the 'Roos taking on Colorado College at 12:00 p.m.
The women's soccer team, meanwhile, enters SCAC Tournament play on Saturday in Georgetown, where the 'Roos will square off against Southwestern University. Austin College enters the postseason as the No. 7-seed in the tournament.
The Austin College softball team will be on the road this weekend as well, as the 'Roos travel to Houston to take on St. Thomas for a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 2:00 p.m. and then wrap up the weekend series on Sunday at noon.
