This Week in 'Roo Athletics

It's a busy weekend for several Austin College athletics programs, as the 'Roo softball, baseball, and women's water polo teams are all in action both in Sherman and as far away as San Diego.

The softball team takes on SCAC rival Centenary College in a three game series beginning on Saturday, as the 'Roos host the Ladies at 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Saturday and wrap up the series with a single game at noon on Sunday.

The Austin College baseball team heads out on the road this weekend, as they'll be playing a non-conference series against Mary Hardin-Baylor on Saturday and Sunday. The 'Roos get things started at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, and follow with another game to wrap up the doubleheader about three hours later. Austin College and UMHB meet again for a single game on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.

Finally, the 'Roo women's water polo is headed back to the West Coast this weekend, taking on several NCAA Division I programs on Saturday and Sunday. The 'Roos open up play at 11:00 a.m. against St. Francis (Pa.) on Saturday, and then play Wagner at 4:30 p.m. On Sunday, they'll take on host school San Diego State at 12:30 p.m. and wrap up the weekend against Bucknell at 3:00 p.m. All of those times are Central.
