This Week in 'Roo Athletics

It's a quiet week in 'Roo Nation, with just two teams in action on Easter Weekend, and as the spring athletics season begins to wind down.

Both the Austin College tennis and women's water polo teams are off this week, leaving only the baseball and softball teams to take the field on the road in a pair of Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference matchups. 

The 'Roo baseball team heads to Shreveport on Thursday, where they'll kick off a three game series against Centenary. The 'Roos and Gents get things started with a single game at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday evening, followed by a doubleheader starting at 1:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon.

While the Austin College baseball team heads east, the 'Roo softball team will be heading southwest to Georgetown. The 'Roos will take on Southwestern University on Friday at 6:00 p.m. for a single game, and then wrap up the series against the Pirates with a doubleheader starting at noon on Saturday.
