This Week in 'Roo Athletics

It's a busy home weekend in Sherman, as the 'Roo basketball and swim teams will each be in town facing off against several conference opponents on Friday and Saturday.

The 'Roos will be in action this weekend for the last time before finals, starting with a basketball doubleheader on Friday evening against Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference foe Southwestern. The women take the court first at 6:00 p.m., followed by an 8:00 p.m. tip for the men against the Pirates.

On Saturday, the hoops teams will be back in action for another SCAC doubleheader, this time against Texas Lutheran. Once again the women play first, facing off against the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m., while the men follow at 6:00 p.m.

Wrapping up this week's events, the Austin College men's and women's swim teams will be in the pool on Saturday against McMurry University. That meet will take place in Hannah Natatorium, with the first event scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.
