This Week in Kangaroo Athletics

Every spring sports team is in action this weekend for Austin College, both at home and on the road. The 'Roo tennis things kick things off on Thursday, and the action continues all the way through Sunday.

The Austin College tennis teams host Whitworth on Thursday afternoon, with the match set to begin at 5:30 p.m. for both the men and the women. The 'Roos will then head out of town on Friday to take on Our Lady of the Lake University at 5:30 p.m., and wrap up the weekend at Trinity on Sunday with that match set to start at 12:00 p.m.

The 'Roo softball team has a home series scheduled against nationally ranked Texas Lutheran on Friday and Saturday, though Friday's game is subject to being rescheduled to Sunday depending on the weather. Currently, the first game of the series is set for 7:00 p.m. on Friday at Old Settlers Park, with games two and three scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

The Austin College baseball team has a home SCAC series this weekend as well, as the 'Roos host the University of Dallas on Saturday and Sunday. The weekend series will start with a doubleheader at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, followed by a 1:00 p.m. first pitch in the final game of the series on Sunday.

The No. 6-ranked women's water polo team heads to Wisconsin this weekend for another slate of CWPA contests, starting with an 11:00 a.m. game against Augustana on Saturday, followed by a 2:30 p.m. game against Macalester. The 'Roos will wrap up their conference weekend on Sunday, taking on Wittenberg at 8:00 a.m. and Carthage at 11:30 a.m.
