This Week in 'Roo Athletics

With the 2023 calendar year coming to a close, the 'Roo basketball teams return to action looking to ring in the New Year on a high note with a pair of Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference doubleheaders this weekend.

The 'Roos will be hitting the road for games on both Friday and Saturday, with the first stop on the trip being Seguin. The men's basketball team takes to the court first against Texas Lutheran on Friday evening with tipoff set for 5:30 p.m., and the women will follow at 7:30 p.m. against the Bulldogs.

From there, both teams will head to Georgetown for another conference doubleheader, this time against Southwestern University. The men's basketball team takes to the court against the Pirates at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the women will play the final Austin College athletics contest of 2023 at 6:00 p.m.
