This Week in 'Roo Athletics

JanTerm is here, and with it, the 'Roo winter student-athletes are back on the court and in the pool as we begin 2024. Both the men's and women's basketball teams will be in action this week, as well as the Austin College men's and women's swim teams.

The Austin College men's basketball team is home on Thursday evening for a non-conference game against McMurry University, with tip time set for 7:00 p.m. Prior to the game, the 'Roos will recognize Jason Jones Jr. with a special Senior Night. Jones, who graduated in December, is set to formally begin his tenure with the United States Air Force next month.

Both basketball teams will then be out on the road on Saturday, as they head to Irving to take on the University of Dallas in a pair of Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference games. The men take the court first at 2:00 p.m., and the women will follow at 4:00 p.m.

Finally, the 'Roo men's and women's swim teams will be in action on Saturday as well, as they head to San Antonio to compete at Trinity University. That meet is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.
