There's plenty of action both in the pool and on the court this weekend as the 'Roos head toward Thanksgiving, with men's water polo heading to California, the swim teams traveling to San Antonio, and men's and women's basketball competing at home.
There's plenty of action both in the pool and on the court this weekend as the 'Roos head toward Thanksgiving, with men's water polo heading to California, the swim teams traveling to San Antonio, and men's and women's basketball competing at home.
The men's and women's swim teams get things underway beginning on Thursday, as they head to San Antonio to participate in the Tiger Invitational hosted by Trinity University. The event will stretch over three days from Thursday through Saturday at Alamo Heights High School.
The men's water polo team will be heading to the campus of UCLA to compete in the MPSF Championships, which open up on Friday and continue through Sunday. The 'Roos get the weekend started at 12:00 p.m. PST against the USC Trojans, and will play three games over the course of the event.
The men's basketball team is home on both Saturday and Sunday, playing host to a pair of teams coming down to Texoma from Arkansas. First up is a meeting with Lyon College at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, followed by a 2:00 p.m. game on Sunday against Hendrix College.
The 'Roo women's basketball team will compete in the final game for Austin College before Thanksgiving, as Howard Payne University comes to town next Tuesday for a 2:00 p.m. game in Hughey Gym.
