The 'Roos are back from the holidays, and winter sports are back in full-swing with men's and women's swimming, as well as both basketball teams, in action beginning on Saturday afternoon.
The Austin College swim teams will be getting into the pool on Saturday, as the 'Roos host the Austin College Invite in Hannah Natatorium at 1:00 p.m. The 'Roos, along with each of the other teams competing, will be recognizing their seniors just before the break for the meet's diving events, approximately an hour into competition.
The men's and women's basketball teams were originally scheduled to hit the road to play at Centenary on Saturday before heading north to Arkansas to take on the University of the Ozarks, but with winter weather expected across the area on Thursday and into Friday, the teams have seen a slight shift to the schedule.
The 'Roos will still be taking on Ozarks in a road doubleheader on Sunday, with the women taking the court at noon while the men compete at 2:00 p.m., and now the away games in Shreveport against Centenary have been moved to Tuesday evening. Those games will now be played at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Austin College and its opponents will continue to monitor the weather over the next few days, should the need for any additional changes come up. Follow us on social media and check the posted schedules on our website for any further updates.
