This Week in Kangaroo Athletics

All four Austin College winter sports teams will be in action this weekend both at home and on the road, with the 'Roo men's and women's basketball teams set to host a pair of Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday while the men's and women's swim teams wrap up the regular season on the road.

First up is a pair of conference games on Friday evening in Hughey Gym, as the women's basketball team takes the court against Schreiner University at 6:00 p.m., followed by an 8:00 p.m. tilt between the 'Roos and Mountaineers. On Saturday, Austin College welcomes Trinity University to campus for another pair of SCAC games with the women once again hitting the floor first at 4:00 p.m., while the men take on the Tigers at 6:00 p.m.

The 'Roo swim teams head to Louisiana this weekend for their last regular season meet before preparation begins for the SCAC Championships in February. Austin College will be heading to Shreveport for a meet hosted by Centenary College at 1:00 p.m.
