This Week in Kangaroo Athletics

It's a light weekend ahead in Austin College athletics, with only the the 'Roo men's and women's basketball teams in action on Friday and Saturday at home in Hughey Gymnasium.

The 'Roos will be hosting a pair of Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference doubleheaders, first with Southwestern University coming to Sherman on Friday evening. The Austin College women's basketball team takes to the court first, with tip-time set for 6:00 p.m., while the men's team follows at approximately 8:00 p.m. against the Pirates.

On Saturday, the 'Roos will be back in action for another set of conference games, this time with Texas Lutheran University being welcomed into Hughey. The women will once again tip off first, with that game scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m., and the 'Roo men's hoops team will take on the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. following the conclusion of the women's game.
