It's another eventful weekend in Austin College athletics, with the 'Roo swim teams competing at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships while softball, baseball, men's and women's basketball, women's water polo, and men's and women's tennis all in action both at home and on the road.

The 'Roo men's and women's swim teams get things underway at the SCAC Championships tonight at 5:00 p.m. at the Garland ISD Natatorium, and they'll continue through Saturday with prelims each morning and finals taking place at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings. All events will be streamed on a pay-per-view basis through FloSports, with links available on the swim team schedules.
The Austin College baseball team is headed to San Antonio this weekend to take on Trinity University in a SCAC series beginning on Friday, followed by a doubleheader on Saturday. Friday's game is set to start at 7:00 p.m., and first pitch on Saturday is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
The women's water polo team is headed to California for its first contests against Division III opponents, beginning with a game against Occidental at 11:00 a.m. PST on Saturday and a 4:00 p.m. PST game against Whittier late in the day.
The 'Roo men's and women's tennis teams will be home on Saturday for the first time this season, as they host Sterling College at 11:00 a.m.
The Austin College softball team will also be home this weekend for the first time in 2025, as the 'Roos welcome Trinity University for a trio of SCAC games beginning with a doubleheader beginning at noon, and they'll wrap up the weekend series with a single game at noon on Sunday. All three games will be played at Sherman High School.
Finally, the men's and women's basketball teams are headed out on the road this weekend for a pair of conference doubleheaders, starting with a trip to Austin to take on Concordia with the women set to take the court at noon while the men will follow at approximately 2:00 p.m. The teams will then be headed to McMurry on Sunday, with the women once again tipping off at noon with the men's game to follow.
