This Week in Kangaroo Athletics

For the final time this year, the 'Roos will be in action as the athletics year comes to a close with tennis, baseball, and softball all in competition both at home and on the road as tennis heads to the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships while baseball and softball are home to wrap up their 2025 campaigns.

The 'Roo men's and women's tennis teams are headed to Waco to open up conference tournament play on Thursday, with both teams facing off against Texas Lutheran University in the opening round. Currently, the men are scheduled to play at noon with the women at 5:00 p.m., but those times are subject to change due to inclement weather expected in Waco, where the tournament will be hosted by Colorado College. The Austin College baseball team is home this weekend for its final series of the year, beginning with a 7:00 p.m. game against the University of the Ozarks on Friday evening at Baker Field, followed by a doubleheader currently slated to begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, with Senior Day recognition scheduled to take place prior to the first game of the twinbill.

The 'Roo softball team will also be home to take on Ozarks in a SCAC series, with a single game scheduled for 5:00 p.m. to be played at Sherman High, with Senior Day activities taking place prior to first pitch. Austin College will then take on the Eagles in a doubleheader on Sunday at Sherman High, with those games scheduled to begin at noon.
