SHERMAN, Texas – Austin College has announced that it has partnered with FloSports in a multi-year, seven-figure media rights agreement in conjunction with the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference. The agreement grants FloSports exclusive streaming rights for the majority of the athletics department's programs beginning in the 2025-26 academic year as part of the platform's subscription-based service.

Austin College will also partner with Big Daddy Media, a sports livestreaming specialist that already works with SCAC schools Concordia University Texas and the University of Dallas to continue to improve the streaming experience for subscribers.
"I'm excited to begin our partnership with both FloSports and Big Daddy Media to help enhance and modernize our department as we proceed into the future of Division III athletics," said athletics director Michelle Filander. "This is a unique opportunity to elevate our livestreaming of games by providing higher quality video, play-by-play for each broadcast, and better engagement with our fans, friends, and families through increased media opportunities, including interviews with student-athletes and coaches. Those opportunities will come through our partnership with Big Daddy Media, which has a proven track record of providing exceptional viewing experiences for SCAC viewers, as well as that company's co-owner, Chuck Licata, who is a welcome addition to our 'Roo Nation family as we enter into the 130th year of athletics competition at Austin College."
FloSports is a SCAC-wide initiative that began in 2024-25, with Austin College initially opting out of the agreement. However, with the collegiate and streaming landscape continually shifting, it was determined that the 2025-26 campaign was the ideal time to improve Austin College's digital profile and, through its partnership with Big Daddy Media, create a significantly enhanced product for viewers while upgrading to a more professional feel to its broadcasts.

"Our vision for FloCollege is to become the essential destination for the thousands of Division II and Division III athletes, their families, and fans, while providing much-needed funds to these smaller institutions, who are in critical need of additional revenue resources."
