The loss drops Austin College to 14-15 overall, while the visiting Tigers improve their season mark to 18-10.

Alex Rodriguez paced the Austin College offense with a 3-for-4 performance at the plate and scored the team's lone run. Kaden Stegent also had a productive night, going 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI. Desmond Squalls, Keaton Bradshaw, and Easton Wilkinson contributed one hit apiece to the 'Roos' eight-hit total.
East Texas Baptist built its lead early, striking for three runs in the top of the first inning. Following a pair of opening singles, an Austin College error allowed the game's first run to score. Joaquin Costa then brought two more home with a single up the middle.
The Tigers extended their advantage with two runs in the second inning on RBI singles from Connor Massimini and Costa. In the third, Juan Ortigoza drove in a run with a single to right, and Carson Livesay followed with an RBI triple to make it a 7-0 game. Livesay paced ETBU at the plate, finishing 4-for-4 with three runs scored, a double, and a triple. Massimini went 3-for-3 with three runs scored, while Costa led all players with four runs batted in.
Austin College broke onto the scoreboard in the bottom of the fourth inning. Rodriguez sparked the frame with a single up the middle. Cayd Miller then reached on a throwing error, allowing Rodriguez to advance to third. Stegent immediately capitalized, knocking an RBI infield single to bring Rodriguez home and cut the deficit to 7-1. ETBU added two more runs in the sixth inning and a final run in the seventh on a sacrifice fly from Carter Nannini to cap the scoring.
Cade Rabal took the loss on the mound for the 'Roos, pitching the first inning and allowing three runs, two of them earned, on three hits. Tyler Bogusz earned the victory for East Texas Baptist, pitching the first three innings and keeping the 'Roos scoreless while scattering four hits and striking out two.
