Austin College collected 10 hits and scored in five different innings, but the visitors used a late offensive surge to put the game out of reach. Jayden Ayala-Hinojosa and Carlos Michinaux provided the power for Austin College, each hitting a home run. Ayala-Hinojosa finished with two hits, two runs scored, and two runs batted in, while Michinaux added two runs batted in. Desmond Squalls also had a strong performance, recording two hits, driving in three runs, and stealing three bases. Alex Rodriguez contributed two hits for the home team.
Arlington Baptist took control early with five runs in the first inning. The Patriots consistently added to their total before breaking the game open with eight runs in the seventh inning. Nathan Duvall paced the Arlington Baptist offense with three hits and five runs batted in, including a home run. Kevin Rios drove in four runs on two hits, and JP Mendoza added a home run and two runs batted in. Joseph Galindo tallied two hits, hitting two doubles and scoring four times.
Keaton Bradshaw took the loss for Austin College, giving up five runs on five hits in an inning of work. Tony Fuentes earned the win in relief for Arlington Baptist.
