'Roo Men Ready to Kick Off SCAC Tournament

SHERMAN, Texas - The Austin College men's soccer team is headed back to the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament for the first time since 2019, with the No. 5-seed 'Roos set to take on the No. 4-seeded Hendrix Warriors on Thursday evening at 5:00 p.m. at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex.

Austin College earned the No. 5-seed after finishing the season with an overall record of 7-6-3 and a conference mark of 6-3-2, and they'll be taking on a Hendrix side they previously defeated 3-1 in a road match just a couple of weeks ago in Conway, Ark., in the only meeting of the regular season between the two schools. That match saw Max Mundorff tally twice and assist on a third goal on his way to earning SCAC Offensive Player of the Week recognition, while first-year goalkeeper Patrick Bassett made eight stops to help secure the victory.
