Leeworthy Named SCAC Swimmer of the Week

SUWANEE, Ga. - Austin College's Matthew Leeworthy has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week for his outstanding performance at last weekend's home meet against St. Thomas, the league office has announced.

Leeworthy, a junior from Walnut, Calif., had a great meet against the Celts in a very short meet format, sweeping both the 50 and 100 breastroke races, as well as contributing to a winning 400 medley relay. The junior swam 1:01.2 in the 100 breastroke and 1:00.0 in the 400 medley relay.
