Swiatkowski, Trott Earn Academic All-District

SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College softball players Hailie Swiatkowski and Lauren Trott have been selected as Academic All-District picks for their outstanding performances both athletically and academically during the 2024-25 academic year.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District Softball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Swiatkowski, a senior from Mundelien, Ill., earned Academic All-Distict for the second year in a row on the strength of a 3.59 grade-point-average with a double major in mathematics and psychology. Swiatkowski was also an honorable mention All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference performer on the field as the team's starting first baseman.
Trott, a junior pitcher from Aubrey, was named Academic All-District in her first year in Sherman after wrapping up the softball season with a 3.77 grade-point-average with a double major in psychology and sports management. She also made 16 appearances in the circle as one of the team's starting pitcher, with 14 starts and more than 52 innings pitched.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
