Broquard Named SCAC Offensive Player of the Week

SUWANEE, Ga. - Jetta Broquard, a sophomore forward for the Austin College women's soccer team from Siloam Springs, Ark., has been named the SCAC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for games played from Tuesday, September 2 through Sunday, September 7.

SUWANEE, Ga. - Jetta Broquard, a sophomore forward for the Austin College women's soccer team from Siloam Springs, Ark., has been named the SCAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for games played from Tuesday, September 2 through Sunday, September 7.

Broquard recorded a brace, scoring the opening goal and third tally in the 'Roos 4-1 win over Texas College on the road last Thursday afternoon. It was the first multigoal effort in Broquard's career after scoring five last year as a rookie. Broquard and the 'Roos have now secured two wins in the opening three contests for the second-straight year, a feat that has not been accomplished since the 2010 and 2011 seasons.
