Austin College is back in the conference championship field this season after securing it spot in the final regular season game of the year, a home victory over LeTourneau, and will take on the Tornados on Thursday in Round Rock in the opening match of the 2025 SCAC Tournament. Austin College and Concordia squared off in September, with the Tornados coming out on top by a score of 3-2 at the Dr. Jack R. Pierce Memorial Soccer Complex, as CTX tallied twice in the final 20 minutes to take the lead and what appeared to be a last-second equalizer for the 'Roos was waved off due to an offisde call.
The winner of Thursday's quarterfinal match moves on to face No. 1-seeded Texas Lutheran on Friday, with that game set to begin at noon on Friday at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex, the home of this year's championship tournament.
