Barcus-Schafer Named SCAC Swimmer of the Week

SUWANEE, Ga. - Austin College's Lola Barcus-Schafer has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference's Women's Swimmer of the Week for her oustanding performance at last weekend's home meet against St. Thomas, the league office has announced.

Barcus-Schafer, a senior from Tulsa, Okla., had some great performances and left her mark at Hannah Natatorium in her final home meet. She was able to sweep all of her events against the Celts, winning the 50 breast, the 100 breast, and the 100 IM. Barcus-Schafer also contributed to the winning 400 Medley Relay and helped the 'Roos to the team win.
