Davidson Named SCAC Singles Player of the Week

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Austin College's Emma Davidson, a sophomore from Lake Dallas, has been selected the SCAC Women’s Tennis Player of the Week for matches played from Monday, February 24 through Sunday, March 2.

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Austin College's Emma Davidson, a sophomore from Lake Dallas, has been selected the SCAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played from Monday, February 24 through Sunday, March 2.

Davidson went 2-0 on the weekend for the 'Roos playing at numebr four singles on both days, as the team took on a pair of conference opponents. On Saturday, she clinched the match for Austin College, winning a three-setter against Texas Lutheran's Serenity Cabrera 7-6 (5), 4-6, 6-1. On Sunday, after helping secure the doubles point for the Roos, handled business at line 4 with a 6-2, 7-5 victory against Nataly Velasco of St. Thomas.
