Austin College Volleyball Earns AVCA Academic Honor

LEXINGTON, Ky. - In an announcement made by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), Austin College is one of six SCAC programs to earn the AVCA Team Academic Award sponsored by INTENT for the 2024-2025 season.

Austin College, Colorado College, McMurry University, Schreiner University, Southwestern University and Trinity University were six of the record-breaking 1,450 collegiate and high school volleyball teams, including 228 Division III women's programs to be honored for recording a minimum combined 3.30 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale, or a 4.10 cumulative team GPA on a 5.0 scale.

This is the third consecutive year in which Austin College has secured this award.
