NEW LONDON, Conn. - The Austin College men's water polo team earned third place at the Eastern Championships over the weekend, defeating Penn State-Behrend 20-6 before falling to Johns Hopkins in the semifinals, wrapping up the weekend with a win over Washington & Jefferson in the third place game.
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Austin College men's water polo team dropped a pair of games to MIT and Harvard on Sunday to wrap up the Bruno Invite, finishing the weekend with a 1-4 record. The 'Roos fell 16-11 to MIT and 21-10 to Harvard.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Austin College men's water polo team capped off day one of the Bruno Invite with a 15-4 win over Connecticut College on Saturday, after dropping their first two games to Division II Gannon University and Division I Brown University.
The 2021 fall campaign will be an historic one for the Austin College men’s water polo team, as head coach Mark Lawrence will be graduating the first recruiting class in program history. In all, Lawrence will be saying goodbye to 11 seniors following the upcoming academic year, and those seniors will be looking to go out with the program’s best season yet this fall.
