Altermatt and Stack Named All-America

SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College men's water polo players Owen Altermatt and Jack Stack have been named honorable mention Division III All-Americans by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches following their outstanding 2025 campaigns, the organization has announced.

Altermatt, a first-year attacker from Boerne, earns his honorable mention All-America status following a year in which he scored 23 goals and added 24 assists in his first season of collegiate water polo. Altermatt was named second team All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation East Division earlier this fall, and added 18 steals and 16 earned exclusions while boasting a 51.5% shooting percentage.

Stack, a senior attacker from Concord, Calif., was also named honorable mention All-America after wrapping up his final year in Sherman with 14 goals and finishing among the MPSF leaders with 41 assists. Stack, who was named honorable mention All-MPSF East, was also one of the league leaders with 39 steals, and added seven blocks and seven earned exclusions during the 2025 season.
