Le Named CWPA Rookie of the Week

SHERMAN, Texas – Austin College women's water polo player Brooke Le has been named the Collegiate Water Polo Association Rookie of the Week, the organization has announced. She's the third 'Roo to earn the distinction this season.

Le, a freshman from Flower Mound, led the 'Roos to a 3-1 record at last weekend's regular season-ending CWPA tournament in St. Paul, Minnesota. Austin College closed out the week with three straight wins, including a 14-9 victory over No. 10-ranked Monmouth, with Le scoring five goals to lead the way. For the weekend, Le tallied eight goals while also leading a defensive effort that allowed an average of just seven goals-per-game.
