Dimitri Named CWPA Player of the Week

SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College women's water polo player Joslyn Dimitri has been named the CWPA Division III Player of the Week for outstanding performance over the weekend in California, where she helped the No. 7-ranked 'Roos to a 2-1 record including a win over No. 9-ranked La Verne.

Dimitri, a junior utility player from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, scored 15 goals across three games for the 'Roos as they took on No. 3-ranked Cal Lutheran, Caltech and La Verne. After falling to Cal Lutheran to open the weekend, Dimitri and the 'Roos earned 13-11 and 21-14 wins over Caltech and La Verne, respectively, with Dimitri scoring five times against the Beavers and six more times in a big win over the nationally-ranked Leopards. She also scored four times against Cal Lutheran, and added seven steals, seven drawn exclusions, and five assists in the three game West Coast road trip.
